Ganyn Apparel's starting MOQ for custom golf apparel is 50 pieces per style and color. More flexible quantities can be discussed for emerging brands. That garment minimum is only one part of the project: custom fabric, print development, labels and packaging can each have separate sourcing requirements.
Count styles and colors separately
An order of 100 pieces does not necessarily mean two different styles and several colors can be produced within the same minimum. Prepare a quantity breakdown by style and color, then add the size distribution. This gives your manufacturer a useful basis for checking the actual garment and material quantities.
Separate garment MOQ from material minimums
A supplier may require a larger quantity for a custom color, fabric construction or branded trim than the garment order itself. Ask which materials are available from stock, what must be developed, and whether unused custom materials are part of the quoted project. Do not assume the starting garment MOQ includes every bespoke component.
Keep the first range focused
Start with the products that best represent your brand. A printed polo and a coordinated solid style can make a coherent range without introducing many fabric and trim combinations. Sharing materials can simplify sourcing, while original artwork, fit and labeling preserve your product direction.
Approve a sample before scaling
Review fit, fabric, color, print and trims on a physical sample. Confirm the finished measurements and packing instructions in writing. A small production run still needs a clear approval standard; reducing quantity does not remove the need to decide how the product should be made.
Prepare a useful first inquiry
Share the product type, reference images, quantities by style and color, size range, fabric requirements and branding. Include the destination and any required arrival date. If details are incomplete, explain the decisions you need help with so design and sourcing work can be scoped.
Confirm the full project cost and schedule
Discuss sample costs, custom material minimums, garment pricing, packing and shipping separately. Typical sampling takes 3-15 days, depending on the brief. Bulk production typically takes 7-20 days after sample approval and material readiness; transport is additional. Confirm the actual schedule and payment terms for your order.
Are sample charges credited to a bulk order?
Samples are charged according to the garment and customization. The factory-charged sample garment cost can be credited against a bulk order under the agreed quotation. Third-party charges, such as silicone-logo mold development, and shipping are not eligible for credit. The eligible amount and conditions are confirmed before sampling.
Review sample charges and bulk-order credits.
